At Home Care 100, CareConnect unveiled the next evolution of its Workforce Operating System, introducing expanded AI-driven capabilities designed to help home care agencies manage staffing shortages, rising compliance costs, and growing care demand.
CEO Matt McGinty said the updated platform reflects CareConnect’s mission to ensure the right caregiver is placed with the right patient at the right time. With agencies facing manual scheduling burdens and limited reimbursement increases, the company has enhanced its AI scheduling solution, CaregiverChoice, and formally launched CareCommunity, a collaborative workforce-sharing platform.

CaregiverChoice 2.0
The upgraded CaregiverChoice 2.0 platform leverages ShiftMatch.ai and introduces AI-powered chatbots for both caregivers and care coordinators. These tools automate scheduling tasks, including shift matching and communication, reducing the need for manual outreach and repetitive coordination.
Caregivers can confirm and manage shifts through conversational text or voice interactions, minimizing the need to navigate multiple applications. Meanwhile, coordinators can focus more on patient and caregiver relationships rather than administrative scheduling tasks.
CareConnect also introduced Predictive Authorization Analytics, which uses AI to forecast an agency’s ability to staff authorized cases before accepting them. By analyzing hiring velocity, scheduling patterns, and workforce availability, the system helps agencies protect margins and improve care plan fulfillment. The predictive tools also support forward-looking workforce planning, identifying hiring needs in advance.

CareCommunity Platform
CareCommunity enables agencies to build compliant caregiver pools and share workforce capacity with trusted partner agencies under structured business rules and billing controls. Agencies can monetize idle caregiver capacity while offsetting compliance expenses.
The platform also includes AI tools for recruiting, credentialing, and compliance management, accelerating time-to-hire and reducing administrative bottlenecks.
Together, these updates position CareConnect’s Workforce Operating System as a comprehensive AI-powered solution for home care agencies seeking greater operational efficiency and workforce stability.
