Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-focused private equity firm, has announced the formation of Allvia, a new platform designed to deliver scalable HR and benefits services across the full employee lifecycle. Fred Pettijohn, an experienced executive and investor who joined Trinity Hunt through its Exec+ program, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Allvia was established following Trinity Hunt’s investment in Melita Group, a San Jose–based provider of human resources, benefits administration, and payroll services. The new platform is intended to bring together hands-on expertise and scalable technology-enabled services to help organizations better manage their workforce and strengthen overall business performance.
“Melita has built a strong reputation for supporting clients through complex workforce challenges,” said Pettijohn. “As employers face increasing pressure to manage costs, maintain compliance, and deliver meaningful employee experiences, we see an opportunity to create a market-leading platform that combines deep expertise with scalable capabilities. Trinity Hunt’s collaborative culture and long-term approach make them an ideal partner as we grow Allvia.”

The Allvia platform will focus on supporting employers across the entire employee lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to benefits administration, payroll, and ongoing workforce management. By integrating services and expanding capabilities, the company aims to deliver more consistent and efficient support for organizations navigating evolving HR and regulatory demands.
Trinity Hunt will provide strategic, operational, and financial guidance to help accelerate Allvia’s growth. This support is expected to include both organic initiatives and partnerships with complementary companies to broaden service offerings and geographic reach.
