MoonPay, a provider of global crypto payments and stablecoin infrastructure, has announced a new partnership with Deel to expand stablecoin-based salary payouts for workers worldwide. The collaboration is designed to give employers and employees a faster, more flexible alternative to traditional cross-border payroll systems.
Deel enables organizations to hire, manage, and pay talent globally, and this partnership builds on its ongoing expansion into crypto-enabled payroll. By integrating MoonPay’s conversion and payout capabilities, Deel will support compliant salary payments delivered directly to employees’ non-custodial crypto wallets.
The rollout will begin next month, initially supporting workers in the United Kingdom and European Union, with expansion into the United States planned for a later phase.

“Deel is redefining global payroll for a distributed workforce, and we’re proud to support that transformation with enterprise-grade stablecoin infrastructure,” said Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO and Founder of MoonPay. “This partnership moves digital assets further into practical financial applications like salary payments.”
Thierry Edde, Head of Crypto at Deel, emphasized the importance of flexibility for workforce. “Our goal is to give people more choice in how they receive and manage their earnings,” he said. “By leveraging MoonPay’s infrastructure, we’re expanding payment options and enabling faster, secure access to income through stablecoins.”

Under the partnership, Deel users will be able to opt into receiving wages in stablecoins, offering an alternative to traditional international bank transfers. MoonPay will handle currency conversion, wallet delivery, and off-ramp functionality, creating an end-to-end experience for global payroll distribution.
Stablecoin payouts can offer several advantages for international workers, including faster settlement compared with traditional banking systems, improved accessibility for individuals without reliable banking infrastructure, and greater flexibility in managing earnings across borders.
As companies continue to adopt distributed workforce models, the partnership reflects a broader shift toward modern payment methods that prioritize speed, accessibility, and user control. Together, MoonPay and Deel aim to support organizations and employees seeking more adaptable payroll solutions in an increasingly global employment landscape.
