Paycom Software,Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based human capital management solutions, announced significant leadership updates, effective August 18. Shane Hadlock will take on an expanded role as both Chief Client Officer and Chief Technology Officer, while Rachael Gannon has been promoted to Chief Automation Officer. In addition, Brad Smith has been appointed Senior Technical Strategist, continuing his direct reporting to CEO Chad Richison.
In his dual role, Hadlock will oversee Paycom’s IT operations while maintaining responsibility for client service teams. “Shane’s blend of technical expertise and client-first mindset has been a driving force in strengthening our service and innovation,” said Chad Richison, founder and CEO of Paycom. “His leadership has played a vital role in enhancing our ability to maximize ROI for our clients.”

Hadlock brings over three decades of technology experience. Over the past 14 years at Paycom, he has led multiple IT functions, including serving as Executive Vice President of Information Technology and Information Security for six years. Prior to joining Paycom, he spent a decade in leadership positions with Hertz.

Meanwhile, Rachael Gannon, who joined Paycom in 2013, has been promoted to Chief Automation Officer. She most recently served as Executive Vice President of Product and Development, after stepping into a leadership role in the Product department in 2023.
