March 11, 2026
Event

Lyra Health, a provider of workforce mental health solutions, has been named the Workday Wellness Preferred Mental Health Partner, strengthening its role in supporting employee well-being within Workday’s growing wellness ecosystem. The partnership integrates Lyra’s mental health services directly into the Workday Wellness platform, expanding access to evidence-based care for organizations and their employees.

Workday Wellness is an AI-powered solution designed to simplify how employees access workplace benefits while providing employers with real-time insights into how wellness programs are being used. The platform aims to improve administrative efficiency for organizations while delivering data-driven insights that help employers better understand employee needs and engagement levels.

Through the partnership, Lyra’s mental health services will be embedded within the Workday Wellness ecosystem. The integration will enable real-time eligibility verification, personalized care recommendations, and streamlined access to mental health support. By connecting Lyra’s clinical programs with Workday’s AI-powered platform, employees will be able to access care more quickly while employers gain better visibility into workforce wellness trends.

Saqib Sheikh, Global Vice President of Partner Strategy and Growth at Workday, said organizations are increasingly seeking comprehensive solutions that support employees’ overall well-being. He noted that adding Lyra Health to the Workday Wellness partner program allows companies to offer high-quality mental health resources as part of a broader, integrated wellness strategy that helps build resilient and engaged teams.

Sean McBride, President of Lyra Health Workforce Mental Health, said the partnership represents an important step toward improving access to mental health care for employees. According to McBride, integrating Lyra’s services into the Workday platform will make it easier for individuals to receive timely support while helping employers manage wellness benefits more effectively.

The collaboration also introduces several operational advantages for organizations. Workday Wellness automates benefit plan configuration using advanced APIs, allowing employers to implement mental health programs more quickly and efficiently than traditional employee assistance program deployments.

Employees will benefit from a more personalized care experience as the platform uses real-time data and AI-driven recommendations to guide them toward appropriate services. Lyra’s care model, which focuses on evidence-based treatment, has shown strong outcomes, with many members reporting meaningful improvements in their mental health.

As the preferred mental health partner within the Workday Wellness ecosystem, Lyra becomes a central component of the platform’s wellness offering. The partnership enables Workday customers to access Lyra’s clinically validated care services more easily while ensuring that organizations can provide trusted mental health resources to their workforces.

Ben Carter, Senior Vice President of Total Rewards, People Business Partners, and M&A at Workday, noted that Workday also uses Lyra internally. He explained that integrating Lyra into the Workday Wellness platform allows customers to benefit from the same seamless mental health support experience already available to Workday employees.
