Elly Launches AI-Native Hiring Platform with Funding Led by Sorenson Capital

February 27, 2026
Event

Elly has launched its AI-native hiring platform and announced $8 million in funding led by Sorenson Capital, with participation from Atomic and Next Wave Capital. As part of the investment, Rob Rueckert, partner at Sorenson Capital, will join Elly’s board of directors.

Elly is designed as a fully integrated hiring platform built with AI at its foundation. Instead of combining disconnected tools for sourcing, interviewing, and applicant tracking, the platform unifies these functions into a single system. It automatically captures hiring activity as it happens and surfaces relevant insights without requiring manual data entry or rigid workflows.

Recruiting teams often rely on legacy applicant tracking systems and multiple AI add-ons that don’t communicate effectively. This fragmented approach can lead to duplicated candidate information, incomplete interviewer context, and significant administrative overhead. Elly aims to address these challenges by interpreting hiring conversations and feedback in real time, turning interviews and screenings into structured, searchable insights that build value over time.

Because the platform is AI-native, it understands evolving candidate evaluations and team discussions as they unfold. Interviewers can view prior candidate inputs without restarting conversations, feedback carries forward throughout the process, and next steps remain clear as perspectives develop. The goal is to reduce administrative burden so recruiters can focus on judgment and decision-making.

CEO Kristen Habacht said Elly was built to reflect how hiring decisions naturally evolve, allowing the platform to track reasoning in context rather than forcing teams to reconstruct it later.

Early adopters across technology, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, and hospitality report measurable time savings, including reduced hours spent on interview documentation and screening coordination.

The new funding will support continued product innovation, expansion of AI capabilities, and growth across sales and marketing as Elly scales its presence in the recruiting technology market.
