Workleap, the company behind the Workleap Platform and ShareGate, has introduced its new Human Capital agent in partnership with Slack. The integration leverages Slack’s Real-Time Search (RTS) API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to give managers real-time visibility into performance, engagement, and coaching signals as work unfolds.
For many modern organizations especially knowledge-driven and small-to-mid-sized teams Slack serves as the central hub for collaboration. Feedback, decisions, project updates, and cultural moments all happen within channels and conversations. However, the volume of activity can make it difficult for managers to identify meaningful insights. Workleap’s Human Capital agent addresses this by securely analyzing Slack conversations and combining those insights with performance goals, engagement metrics, and historical review data already available within the Workleap platform.

The integration operates on a per-user permission model. Slack administrators control what data Workleap can access, and the system only retrieves information each user is already authorized to view. This approach ensures secure, context-aware insights without expanding access beyond existing permissions.
By connecting Slack activity with structured HR data, Workleap enables more accurate and contextual performance reviews, grounded in actual contributions rather than memory alone. It also enhances engagement insights by enriching Officevibe feedback with day-to-day collaboration patterns, helping surface emerging themes early. Additionally, the integration improves knowledge discovery by allowing employees and HR teams to search for policies and updates across Slack and connected tools such as Jira and Notion.

The launch aligns with Slack’s broader push toward agent-enabled workflows, where AI can securely access workplace data and support decision-making in real time. With MCP-based architecture, Workleap’s integration also lays the groundwork for future AI-assisted actions within Slack, enabling managers to take guided steps directly within their collaboration environment when explicitly authorized.
The Slack integration is now available within Workleap and will roll out to all customers through February 2026, further advancing the company’s mission to help managers lead with greater speed, clarity, and confidence.
