Netchex has announced a new integration with BenefitsMe, bringing Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) functionality directly into the Netchex platform to support hourly and frontline workers facing unexpected expenses.
The integration is designed to address a common challenge for employers: financial stress among hourly employees that can lead to absenteeism, disengagement, and higher turnover. When workers encounter urgent costs such as appliance repairs, car maintenance, or essential electronics those pressures often impact workplace focus, scheduling stability, and overall productivity.

A Financial Wellness Tool Built for Frontline Teams
Buy Now Pay Later by BenefitsMe allows employees to purchase essential items and repay the cost over time through interest-free payroll deductions. The program provides access to more than 70,000 brand-name products, including appliances, furniture, electronics, tires, and travel. It does not rely on traditional credit checks, charge interest, or require enrollment windows.
The benefit is available to employees from Day 1 and can be activated at any time within Netchex. There are no setup costs, fees, or financial liabilities for employers. Payroll deductions are automated and flow directly from BenefitsMe into the Netchex system, minimizing administrative effort for HR teams.

The BNPL offering expands Netchex’s broader Employee Financial Wellness Suite, which includes earned wage access, paycards, flexible pay options, hospitality tip payouts, and NetPerks employee discounts. Together, these tools aim to help employers reduce financial stress without increasing payroll costs.
According to BenefitsMe survey data, 77% of employees report reduced financial stress with access to the platform, 62% say it improves their likelihood of staying with their employer, and 92% consider it a valuable benefit.
Netchex CEO Abhinav Agrawal said the integration reflects the company’s focus on practical, cost-free solutions that help employers better support hourly teams. BenefitsMe President Raechel Peters added that the partnership expands access to essential purchases without credit dependency or high-interest fees.
The launch reinforces Netchex’s strategy of pairing financial wellness solutions with its payroll and HR technology platform while maintaining high customer service standards.
