Navwise Debuts, Rebranding from SlainTech After Guiding 10,000 SMB Benefits Decisions

Navwise today announced its official market debut and rebrand from SlainTech, undertaken in collaboration with Zoë Foundry and Presidio Labs. This transformation reflects the company’s expansion from its original focus on new business and renewal automation into building a full-scale decision-intelligence infrastructure for small and mid-sized business (SMB) health benefits.

To date, Navwise has supported more than 10,000 employer groups with renewal and placement decisions. By integrating block-level automation with insights across diverse funding models—including PEO, level-funded, ACA, and ICHRA—the platform provides HR technology providers, brokers, and carriers with actionable intelligence. The goal is to help strengthen client retention, accelerate business growth, and improve confidence in benefits placements.

Jason Langhoff, a veteran in HR technology and insurance, has stepped in as CEO and Co-Founder to lead Navwise into its next stage. With over 15 years of leadership experience, including roles at TriNet, Justworks, and Oyster, Langhoff previously directed company strategy through Presidio Labs, his strategy and incubation platform. He now partners with Co-Founder and Chief Evangelist Garrett Viggers to guide Navwise’s growth.

“SlainTech demonstrated that block-level automation could revolutionize renewal strategies,” said Garrett Viggers, Chief Evangelist at Navwise. “The transition to Navwise reflects our evolution into a more comprehensive benefits intelligence platform—one built to empower brokers, carriers, and PEOs in an increasingly complex market.”

“Navwise is creating the decision layer for SMB health benefits,” added CEO Jason Langhoff. “By merging automation with funding-model intelligence, we’re equipping HR tech platforms, trusted advisors, and insurers to better compete and grow at a time when benefits decisions are becoming more intricate than ever.”

Jason T. Andrew, Chief Investment Officer of Zoë Foundry, emphasized the strength of the rebrand and leadership: “Navwise embodies the type of company Zoë Foundry was designed to launch. With Jason Langhoff’s deep expertise and leadership as CEO, the company is positioned to deliver the critical infrastructure needed for the SMB benefits ecosystem. We are proud to co-found, invest in, and support Navwise as it enters its next phase of growth.”
