Employ Inc. has appointed Patrick (PJ) Jean as Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its focus on accelerating innovation across its hiring platforms, including JazzHR, Lever, and Jobvite.

Jean joins Employ at a critical point in the evolution of talent acquisition technology. In his new role, he will oversee technology strategy and execution, with an emphasis on faster product development cycles, stronger platform performance, and scalable innovation to support modern hiring teams.

With more than 20 years of experience, Jean brings deep expertise in building AI-native products, scaling engineering teams, and aligning technical strategy with revenue growth. Most recently, he founded and served as CTO of momentiq.ai, an AI cognitive services platform focused on reasoning models and agentic systems. Earlier in his career, he held senior engineering and technology leadership roles at ABBYY, OutSystems, Citrix, and Apttus.

Jean said his career has been driven by a passion for building technology, beginning with launching his first startup after college. He added that recruiting carries significant responsibility, as it involves connecting individuals with meaningful career opportunities. Jean believes Employ’s product portfolio and innovation focus position the company to redefine how organizations match talent with opportunity.
