HumanManager Limited (HML), a leader in HR and payroll technology, has restated its mission to transform workplace culture through innovation. The company showcased this commitment at the 2025 ICTEL Expo, organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on July 29–30 in Lagos. The event brought together top figures from technology and business to explore opportunities in Africa’s digital economy.
At the exhibition, HML presented its advanced HR and payroll solutions, engaging industry stakeholders on how data-driven insights can boost employee experience, performance, and organisational cohesion.
Speaking at a media briefing, Managing Director Udy Ngele underscored the value of integrating data into human capital management. He noted that while technology continues to advance, retaining skilled and committed employees remains a core challenge.

“Technology will keep evolving, but the demand for emotionally intelligent, dedicated professionals will never fade,” Ngele said. “Organisations must leverage data to understand workforce needs, enhance culture, and reward excellence.”
He highlighted that automating processes such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration can enhance satisfaction when backed by actionable insights. He also warned against allowing toxic work environments to persist, stressing the need for empathy, fairness, and consistency in employee relations.
Ngele explained that HML supports both startups and large enterprises with integrated HR tools and advisory services that align people strategies with business outcomes. He praised LCCI for fostering collaboration and noted the growing maturity of Nigeria’s tech industry.
The 11th ICTEL Expo, themed “Leveraging Technology Innovation and Development in Africa”, featured keynote addresses, startup pitches, panel discussions, and networking sessions with industry leaders, including Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Mr. Tubosun Alake, and NIMC Director-General, Bisoye Coker-Odusote.
Looking ahead, HML aims to develop more intelligent, adaptable HR solutions to help African businesses manage talent effectively and equitably.
