ON24 Appoints May O'Neal as Chief HR Officer

ON24 announced the appointment of May O’Neal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, O’Neal will lead the global HR function and manage ON24’s talent and people strategy with a focus on building high-performance teams, strengthening leadership at all levels and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Varo Bank, the first all-digital consumer bank in the U.S. with a national banking charter. Prior to that, O’Neal spent 11 years at WageWorks as Chief People Officer, where she led a mission-critical team, played a key role in the company’s IPO, spearheaded multiple acquisitions, and created an engaged internal culture. Earlier in her career, she led the HR function at Zilog, where she played a key role in stabilizing and growing the company through a period of transformation and its return to the public markets. She also managed a global workforce across the U.S., Europe and Asia, driving initiatives to strengthen leadership, talent development and organizational effectiveness.
