iHire has introduced an interview scheduling tool that allows employers and candidates to quickly and easily schedule interviews directly through the industry-specific employment platform. By securely syncing their online calendar with iHire's applicant tracking system (ATS), employers can invite applicants to schedule interviews within their pre-selected windows of availability, thereby accelerating the entire hiring process.
Now available to users with a Job Slot subscription, iHire's interview scheduling feature expedites the time to hire by eliminating the frustrating back-and-forth emails, phone calls, and texts that often come with finding the perfect interview timeslot. As a result, organizations can enhance applicant engagement, reduce candidate ghosting, and strengthen their employer brands.

To use iHire's interview scheduling tool, employers must first sync their Outlook, Google, Windows 365, or Apple calendars with iHire's ATS, which takes just seconds to complete. They can then specify dates and times they are available, link their preferred virtual meeting platform, list their contact information and physical address, specify how far out candidates can schedule interviews, and more.
Once these settings are configured, employers can send an interview invitation through a candidate's application page. The candidate is prompted via email (and SMS if opted in) to choose a date and time for the interview from the employer's specified timeframes, and both parties receive an email confirmation and a calendar invitation for the actual event. Candidates and employers can also reschedule or cancel interviews through the iHire platform and keep all requested and scheduled interviews organized within iHire's Job Tracker or ATS, respectively.
