Workday, the AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, is bringing AI agents center stage in its latest “Rock Star” campaign featuring
Gwen Stefani,
Paul Stanley, and
Billy Idol. The rockers, dressed in business attire, hilariously try to navigate the corporate world – refusing to believe that Workday’s AI agents are making people “rock stars.” The two new TV commercials, titled “Carmen the Rock Star,” and “
Goodnight Rock Stars,” are debuting at The Masters from
April 7-13. The commercials playfully contrast the worlds of rock ‘n’ roll and business with Stefani, Idol, and Stanley trading their leather studs for power suits and attending countless meetings, engaging in small talk with colleagues in the office, and grappling with corporate jargon. Superstar
Gwen Stefani quips, “You think AI agents can handle your tasks? Watch me handle my agent!” Rock and roll hall of famer
Paul Stanley comments, “So you corporate types think you’re rock stars? That’s as ridiculous as us being corporate types! When your weekend routine involves smashing guitars on stage, a boring office job just doesn’t compare…”
BeamJobs, a SaaS company that provides free and premium job application tools and has helped over 2.5 million job seekers create standout resumes, announced the launch of its Resume Bullet Point Generator. The Resume Bullet Point Generator is integrated into BeamJobs’ resume builder for a seamless and intuitive experience for the user. This feature assists job seekers in writing high-impact and concise job experience bullet points tailored to their experience level and the role they want. The tool analyzes and scores bullet points between 0 and 100, educates job seekers with customized feedback about what works, and suggests potential rewrites as needed. It takes into account the job seeker’s profession and work experience to generate job-specific suggestions that demonstrate measurable outcomes and target industry keywords compliant with applicant tracking software (ATS).
TalentLMS, a leading employee training platform, released a study of 1,000 U.S. employees that uncovers a silent crisis in the
workplace that’s going largely undetected — a phenomenon its researchers have coined “Quiet Cracking.” Over half of employees surveyed (54%) experience some level of Quiet Cracking, and one in five report experiencing it frequently or constantly. Unlike burnout or quiet quitting, Quiet Cracking doesn’t manifest in obvious ways — making it even more dangerous for business leaders to ignore. The report highlights the steep costs of ignoring early signs of disengagement, which could lead to reduced performance and increased turnover risk.
