University of Phoenix Leadership Appointed Vice Chair of ACBSP Task Team on AI

University of Phoenix is pleased to announce the appointment of Hal D. Morgan, MBA, senior director of Accreditation and Online Education, as Vice Chair for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Task Team on artificial intelligence (AI). Morgan, who serves on the ACBSP baccalaureate and graduate degree Board of Commissioners, will hold the Vice Chair position on the Task Team for one year. In this role, Morgan will assist the Task Team in its mission to research and examine the emerging technology of AI and (1) Address the impact on higher education and accreditation including its effect on teaching and institutional administration, and related ethical implications; (2) Provide insights of developing and using AI in a trustworthy and responsible manner; and (3) Identify ways to address AI risks.
