DeVry University released its third annual Impact Report, which shares the university’s impact on its students, corporate partners, the economy and communities. The reportEmpowering Tomorrow’s Workforce through Lifelong Education, examines the university’s role in helping educate the next generation of professionals while supporting their lifelong learning as the demands of modern workplaces change.

  • Helping make higher education more accessible and affordable: DeVry is helping minimize the cost of pursuing an education for its students while maximizing the return on their investment. During the 2024-25 academic year, the university expanded its scholarship programs, awarding over $79 million in institutional aid and froze its tuition rate for the fifth consecutive academic year. Additionally, enrollment in Scholars programs increased substantially, reaching 8,686 total students in 20242.
  • Measuring and enhancing student success: The university prioritizes student success by closely monitoring several key performance indicators, including session-to-session persistence, which has increased from 83.1% in the 2019 academic year to 88% in 2024, positively influencing graduation outcomes.
  • Enabling upskilling and lifelong learning: Among active DeVry students enrolled in 2024 who shared their reasons for joining, 32% enrolled to further their current career, 31% to switch their career path and 23% to enter a career field for the first time. As technology reshapes industries, DeVry’s tech-driven curriculum and tailored learning experiences empower professionals with the skills to achieve their career aspirations. In addition to its existing AI-focused classroom tools and course modules, the university added seven new AI courses to the curriculum in the 2024 academic year and over 1,600 course takers completed coursework addressing the ways AI is reshaping the workforce, up 29% from the previous year. DeVry’s comprehensive approach spans disciplines, offering both general AI fluency and specialized, context-specific AI training.
